One Leg One Goal – Kick-off Project WAFF Grant 2025

Sunday 7 September was one to remember! Under a bright sun, One Leg One Goal – More Than A Game welcomed over 1,000 enthusiastic participants and supporters for the official kick-off of our WAFF Grant 2025 project.

And what a start it was!

• Our very first competition with three amputee teams was an absolute highlight.
• The introductory sessions gave new players the chance to take their first steps.
• And during the youth training, young talent shone with energy and joy.

From start to finish, the atmosphere was fantastic: a big crowd, lots of smiling faces, and above all… a day full of fun and football. A true bullseye!

On top of that, we received massive media attention and strong support from all Belgian Football Federations — giving us even more strength to keep building together.

We’re not only left with great memories, but also new players, fresh energy, and tons of motivation to continue.

This definitely tastes like more. On to the next chapter of our project — together we make a difference!
